Gasworks is a non-profit contemporary visual arts organisation based in South London. Over the last 25 years it has established a strong reputation for providing studios and for programming career-defining residencies and exhibitions for UK and international emerging artists.

More than 500 artists from 80 countries around the world have taken part in our programmes, with alumni including Turner Prize nominees Lynette Yiadom Boakye, Anthea Hamilton, Hurvin Anderson, Goshka Macuga and Rosalind Nashashibi;  as well as internationally recognised artists Renata Lucas, Kemang Wa Lehulere, Candice Lin, Naufus Ramirez Figueroa, Monira Al Qadiri and Zach Blas.

Gasworks is also the hub of Triangle Network, a global network of arts organisations with partners in over 20 countries including Argentina, Brazil, India, France, USA and Zimbabwe. Through exchange projects such as artists’ residencies, the network provides professional development opportunities for artists and functions as a support system for grass-roots arts spaces across the world.

Gasworks regularly produces exclusive limited editions by artists involved in its exhibition and studio programmes. These beautiful and affordable artworks, each signed and numbered by the artists, are generously created to raise funds for our programmes.
