About The Work

“Final Draft” is an “architectural” arrangement concerned with line, color, and balance. Perhaps it might also be a studio still-life. It was made over time, I stored it, then returned to it for new looks. The bare, reversed panel fragment was added onto a saved painted panel; the small aquamarine piece was added a year later. The title references the editing process in writing: finding, adding, subtracting, altering, and shifting the narrative.
