About The Work

This dyptich belongs to the series titled Black and White that was conceived as a painterly research of the relations between images of space and perception of time. Two canvases show positive and negative version of the same picture, the subject of which is inspired by the artist's observations of the collisions between the human made structures and nature during his walks in the countryside. The work addresses the possibility to apprehend the opposites at the same time as a metaphor of the borderline between human and machine gaze.
