    About The Work

From April to July 2016, Chetwynd worked with 34 children and 44 teenagers from across Liverpool to make the film Dogsy Ma Bone, a commission for Liverpool Biennial 2016 that uses the city as a backdrop to the action. The film is inspired by Betty Boop’s A Song A Day (1936) and Bertolt Brecht’s satirical musical Threepenny Opera (1928). Chetwynd’s limited edition for the Biennial, Getting Dogsy, is inspired by the film, its characters and costumes.
