About The Work
In this work, a wax mask of the striking German actor some may remember from artist Bruce Nauman's video installation Anthro/Socio at MoMA's Dislocations show has been shot in four Polaroids, each of which shows Nauman's fingers poking through the mask's eyes or mouth. The Polaroids were scotch-taped onto a white ground and rephotographed in Fuji Super Gloss.
