About The Work
The "Flying Cock" necklace is fashion jewelry in a class of its own. Based on the shape of the belt buckle, the middle piece was cast in pink epoxy resin in our studio. The solid brass eyelets are coated with palladium and subsequently rhodium-plated. The closure is formed by a gag made of two penises, which are fed into a donut. The Flying Cock was the first insignia of Tom of Finland Foundation, drawn by TOM himself in the vein of subversive insignias found throughout his body of work.
Hand crafted by Jonathan Johnson in Hamburg, Germany. This item is made to order. Please allow up to three weeks to ship.
