Georges Tony Stoll

Known for his abstract forays into painting, video work and most notably, photography, Georges Tony Stoll creates work defined by its “pictorial approach and specific implementation for bodies and objects.” Inspired by the theory of critics such as Elizabeth Lebovici and Dominique Baqué, Stoll explores what he has referred to as, the “territory of abstraction.”

Stoll has participated in several exhibitions including the Musée Granet, Jérôme Poggi Gallery, La Galerie, Noisy-le-Sec, FRAC Alsace, at the Grand Palais at Les Rencontres, Centre Pompidou, White Cube, New York, Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and Glassbox. His graphic works were presented by Jérôme Poggi Gallery during the Drawing Now fair in 2014.
