Locus+, based in Newcastle UK, is a leading, independent visual arts commissioning agency, that works with artists on the production and presentation of socially engaged, collaborative and temporary projects, primarily for non-gallery locations. Locus+ also commissions a range of limited edition prints and publications.

Formally The Basement Group (1979) and Projects UK (1982), Locus+ has worked on contemporary artist projects from the 70s to the present. Locus+ is known for working with artists with significant international reputations, as well as early career artists, commissioning work that is issue-based, to work in different contexts and across formats.
