    About The Work

In Guest 12:52, from the artist’s series Guest, a woman’s bright, ethereal silhouette stands in a profile, with the body’s glow turning the black background into shades of blue. Each image in the series is created from a tin cut-out that Bucklow pierces with up to 25,000 holes in the shape of his subject. This is placed inside a homemade camera over the photographic paper and then exposed to the sun.
