The knotted gun ”Non-Violence” was originally created by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd as a memorial tribute to John Lennon after he was shot and killed in New York City in December 1980.
Patrizia Gucci is a granddaughter of the Gucci brand founder and has a background as a designer for the fashion house sharing her family’s name.
She joined the Non-Violence Foundation as an ambassador and has made her very own unique interpretation of the knotted gun. Her version of the knotted gun finds inspiration in her homeland Italy and by contemporary fashion, such as the butterfly used by the fashion brand her great grandfather started in 1921.
Buying our Limited Edition sculptures, part of the revenues goes to the Non-Violence Project and will contribute to social change and bring more peace to the world.
