Alan Gaynor

Alan Gaynor’s attention to light and shadow highlights the intricate/detailed/complicated Infrastructure in his compositions. These photographic works are an outgrowth of the artist’s interest in Architecture and Urbanism.  In one of his project series, Alan uses the beauty of dying flowers, as a metaphor for his wife’s death after a long illness.  Mr. Gaynor has shown extensively, most recently at Limner gallery in Hudson, NY and Viridian Artists Gallery in West Chelsea. He has been Published In Your Daily Photograph
