About The Work
Through his work Andy Warhol redefined the way we see the world by making the ordinary extraordinary. He firmly believed that to really change things you have to do it yourself, a core value we share here at The Skateroom. The sales of the Andy Warhol collection has enabled the funding of Skateistan's operational costs for its new Skate Park in Johannesburg. It seemed obvious for us to try and perpetuate Andy Warhol's vision through our production. That's why we recently collaborated with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to produce a series of Andy's most iconic works.
