About The Work
Whitney Lynn employs expanded forms of sculpture, performance, photography, and drawing to explore the role of images in the construction of myth, illusion and desire. Her work has been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions at venues such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, White Columns, and the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Art. She has been awarded residencies with the Internet Archive, de Young Museum, and The Neon Museum, Las Vegas; and created public art projects for the San Diego International Airport and the San Francisco War Memorial Building.
