About The Work
In 1963, Robert Indiana was one of six artists commissioned to imagine a design for US dollar coins. His painting New Glory Penny represents his version of the penny ($0.01) in his signature Pop art style using bright graphics inspired by hand-painted signs and advertisements.
Our oversized, heavyweight duck canvas tote bag features the front and back of Robert Indiana’s New Glory Penny on each side. The orange bag features two types of contrasting purple straps: an adjustable long strap to wear as a cross-body and shorter hand straps. Fully lined with a large, zippered interior pocket.
