About The Haas Brothers
Since founding The Haas Brothers in 2010, twin brothers Nikolai and Simon (b.1984; Austin, TX) have spurned arbitrary artistic boundaries and hierarchies, creating a playful and provocative world that merges art, fashion, film, music, and design. Their work explores aesthetic themes related to nature, science fiction, sexuality, and psychedelia in materials that range from brass, porcelain, and fur, to highly technical resins and polyurethane.Their first solo museum show opened at The Bass Museum of Art in 2018 and their work is held in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum. In 2019, they were the recipients of the Arison Award given by the YoungArts Foundation. The Haas Brothers are represented by Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York. They live and work in Los Angeles.

This limited edition is a large-format, 504-page book with 1,050 color images and features “This Sh*t Is Heavy,” a custom tabletop bookstand created in collaboration with The Haas Brothers.
- This hardcover book is 12-5/8 x 16-1/2 inches | 420 x 320 mm (portrait).
- Black and white photographs are featured on the front and back covers.
- The spine is wrapped with a custom-dyed, rose gold, metallic cloth with the book’s title silkscreened using a clear gloss UV.
- Additional features include: 3 paper stocks, 7 single- and double-page gatefolds, 9 bound-in booklets, 1 tip-in sheet, and a double-sided, removable poster (31-1/2 x 23-5/8 inches | 800 x 600 mm).
