About The Work
Peter Saul, along with seven other leading international artists, were asked to create a print to celebrate Greenpeace's 50th anniversary. A third of the profits from the sale of each print will be donated to Greenpeace.
Available individually or as part of a box set.
Traffic Jam (2022) is Peter Saul’s bold and idiosyncratic contribution to the Greenpeace 50 Years campaign. Bulging eyes, gaping mouths and probing hands are entangled with spinning wheels and bumping car bonnets, creating a sense of disorder and confusion.
This monochromatic screenprint is characteristic of Saul’s work, balancing fun cartoon-style imagery with critical social commentary and highlighting serious contemporary concerns in a satirical way.
