    About The Work

Paul Cava’s Leaves series of archival pigment photographs depict highly detailed autumn leaves in a minimalist arrangement on a textured background created from an antique Japanese kimono. Cava’s arrangements suggest figures, bodies, and lovers as the leaves interact and embrace each other or dance gracefully in a choreography of texture, color, and gesture.
