Life progresses at a rapid pace. Things are shifting so fast that the basics of our human nature and our own unique perception of truth blurs between already established knowledge and new information we receive every day, from thousands of sources. These days, I face existential questions myself more often than ever before.

Personal identity, beliefs, social norms, politics, and human relations are struggling to take a definite shape in my mind. It’s all shifting from what I believe, or believed, into multiple possible ways of processing information, influenced by an overwhelming flow of concepts on how one should live life. While observing the collective consciousness transforming toward an all-inclusive mindset, it becomes harder to stay with one’s own established ways. This questioning of every action forces one to shift in perspectives uncomfortably. When there is “this and that at once”— herein lies the identity crisis.

With this body of work, created using a double exposure technique, I aim to portray my fears and confusion about self, observing the effects of having a double vision both on a personal and global level. Hoping to find a clear view that speaks to our hearts, I’m asking – “Is your vision clear?”
