About The Work
“This lithograph is happening, it’s right at the beginning, right now, and it’s called In The Beginning. I’m really happy with the result, it’s great. I represent emotions rather than making faces, When people ask, ‘What is it? Can you explain it to me?’ I always like to answer, ‘What do you think it is?’ That is more interesting to me. I create the character, and people create the story line. I can learn from them, and it makes them look at it and think about it. Sometimes they say really cool stuff. I like that.” — Kenny Scharf
