About The Work
Though he often used photographs as reference for his culturally inspired paintings and prints, Pop artist Jim Dine did not begin creating his own photographic images until the mid-1990s, later on in his prolific career. His unique style, often fixated on certain symbolic objects, translates to his photography—in this case, his interest in poetry and text.
