Created on the occasion of their historic installation The Strange City, for Monumenta at the Réunion des Musées Nationaux Grand Palais, Russian artists Ilya and Emilia Kabakov pulled this rare and exceptional copper plate heliogravure in five colors. Published in an edition of 30 by the atelier known as Chalcographie du Louvre, How to meet an angel, Comment rencontrer un ange, features a figure perched atop a ladder to heaven. Internationally renowned, Ilya and Emilia Kabakov have been working together since 1989 and have a studio on Long Island, New York.
