Ruth Alemayehu

Ruth Alemayehu has been a member of Intoart, a London visual arts charity working with people with learning disabilities, since 2010. Her work is composed of layers of vivid colours and repeated shapes. Starting as works on paper the images evolve into three-dimensional objects, using paper net designs and working in plastic and wood. Applying paint to different surfaces, Alemayehu is often working on a larger number of works developed concurrently while paint dries and other images begin.
