Joseph Piasentin

A native Californian, a graduate of Stanford University and the California College of Arts and Crafts, Piasentin's prints, as in his drawings and paintings, are process-oriented, richly layered, and heavily worked. He describes his work as the "cultivation of the accident, where the operation of assembly and disassembly provide a constantly changing relationship of formal issues." He is currently a Professor of Painting and Drawing at Pepperdine University, Malibu California.
