Ignacio De Lucca

An Argentinian artist and architect, Ignacio de Lucca’s work takes the form of lush, colorful watercolors showing the tangles of flora, fauna and abstract color. Often depicting the surrounding countryside of his home province of Misiones, Argentina, de Lucca captures “natural phenomena” with a nod to the traditions of art history.  In 1997 de Lucca participated in the Antorchas Foundation Program “New Painters from NEA”, in Misiones. In 2004 he was selected to participate in the Paintings Edge Program with the artists in Idyllwild, California.
