Established in 1979, the Robert Koch Gallery has exhibited and offered a wide range of museum quality photography that spans the history of the medium from the 19th century to the present. Our extensive inventory emphasizes Modernist and experimental work from the 1920s and 1930s, 19th century, and contemporary photography. From inception, the gallery's mission has been to help define and participate in the evolving understanding of the history of photography.
Robert Koch actively seeks out and exhibits significant new artists and promotes lesser researched frontiers in the history of the medium, while offering the finest examples by established masters of photography. The gallery participates in several art fairs across the country and publishes monographs cataloging the works of its artists and holdings.
