Minnie Muse is a multidisciplinary creative brand specializing in the creation of digital content, unique consumer products and original art objects. Sitting at the cross-section of art, fashion, architecture and design, the Minnie Muse brand encompasses a content-based website (minniemuse.com – launched, November 2017), a product line (MMerch – launched, June 2019) and an e-commerce platform (MMerch.com – launched, November 2019).
About Consumerism Ashore Series:
Consumerism Ashore is a series of locally sourced, hand-painted seashells that began in April 2020 as a creative pastime during the latter weeks of quarantine. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a formal body of work commenting on the dichotomy of materials – coloring natural seashells with synthetic, acrylic paint – as well as the significance of branding, mainstream iconography, found objects, and appropriation in the canon of 20th century art history.
