LUIS DE JESUS LOS ANGELES
Los AngelesLuis De Jesus Los Angeles, located in the downtown Arts District, is a contemporary art gallery committed to regional and global art discourse with a particular focus on intersectional diversity. We nurture and support emerging and mid-career artists using traditional, interdisciplinary, and new media methodologies. These artists use conceptual and formal strategies as a critical lens to address a myriad of fundamental and urgent concerns including the social constructs of gender, racial, and subjective identity; the power of aesthetic frameworks to shape political and economic reality; and the historical and potential roles of the artist within society.
The gallery regularly participates in international art fairs, including The Armory Show, Art Los Angeles Contemporary, Art Toronto, the Dallas Art Fair, EXPO Chicago, FRIEZE L.A. and New York, NADA Miami Beach and New York, and UNTITLED Miami Beach and San Francisco.
