Gilman Contemporary represents emerging to mid-career artists from the United States and abroad whose work presents an innovative vision to traditional art forms. This vision is created either through use of material or content.
For centuries art galleries have provided a gathering place which draws visitors from all walks of life. We continue this tradition by dedicating itself to the progression and appreciation of contemporary art in a vibrant and relaxed setting. Exhibitions of photography, sculpture and paintings inspire thought-provoking and lively conversations.
Gallery exhibitions range from Nick Brandt's majestic photography of the disappearing African wildlife to Hacer's steel origami sculptures to the Neo-Classical paintings of Hunt Slonem.
With an educated and committed staff, the gallery can assist both the seasoned collector as well as those acquiring work for the first time.
