Benjamin Loyseau

Benjamin Loyseau is an independent photographer-reporter recognized in France and around the world. His unique approach is to inform and raise awareness of social and geopolitical causes. Always in search of meaning, his photographs are borrowed from humanism, beauty and truth.


Benjamin works on subjects as varied as the life of the Sioux in the United States, the Rwandan genocide, disability in France, the war in South Sudan, portraits of artists such as The Blaze, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Marion Cotillard or Zidane for major international causes.


For many years, Benjamin Loyseau has been collaborating with the United Nations to document the refugee crisis around the world and in parallel is preparing a book on Native Americans in the United States. His photographs have been published in major newspapers and magazines around the world (New York Times, Le Monde, Vanity Fair, Figaro, Libération, etc.).
