Zora J Murff

Zora J Murff is an artist and educator living in Arkansas. He is interested in the social capacities and functions of images, specifically, the many realities born from the creation of Blackness inside of the so-called "American" context (1619–present-day). Murff mainly shares his work through publications and has the pleasure of making four monographs, the most recent True Colors (or, Affirmations in a Crisis) published by Aperture Foundation in 2022. His work has been collected and exhibited by the Museum of Modern Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Photography, Denver Museum of Art, and The High Museum of Art. He is Black; therefore, he is
