Toba Khedoori

Toba Khedoori was born in Sydney, Australia in 1964 and lives and works in Los Angeles. She received her M.F.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1994 and in 2002, Khedoori was awarded the MacArthur Foundation Grant. She has participated in the Venice Biennale (2009) and the Whitney Biennial (1995). Her work is found in prominent museum collections internationally including Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; The Museum of Modern Art, New York; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, among many others. Recent solo exhibitions include the Fridericianum in Kassel, Germany (2021) and a major survey at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (2016) that traveled to Pérez Art Museum Miami (2017).
