Quentin Armand

Quentin Amand studied at l’École supérieure d’art, Grenoble, and has since participated in group exhibitions including “Hardcore” at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2003), and “Holiday In” at Gasworks, London (2007). He works with found objects and everyday situations, and stages small fractures and interventions into the ordinary. For “Hardcore,” Armand asked the security guards of the Palais de Tokyo to wear jackets inscribed with the word “sérénité” (serenity), challenging and subverting their role within the gallery.
