Minam Apang

Minam Apang earned her MFA from the Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, and currently lives in Bangalore. Inspired by fables and mythology from northeast India, she uses acrylic, watercolor, and ink on paper to create intricate works that mix abstraction with dreamlike figuration. As a student, she cofounded the Lazy Rebels collective, organizing public lectures and films on contemporary Western art practices.
