Michael B. Robinson

Michael B. Robinson received his BFA in film, photography, and visual art from Ithaca College and his MFA from the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he lives and works. Robinson combines pop sound tracks with footage from video games and old films. And We All Shine On (2007) conjures a postapocalyptic landscape, including a night shot of trees blowing in the wind and other landscapes appropriated from video games, while karaoke is overheard on the sound track.
