Matti Braun

German multidisciplinary artist Matti Braun is interested in complicating cross-cultural conversations. He works in a range of media, including painting, photography, and large-scale installations. His diverse projects have explored the ancient Silk Route connecting the East to the West as well as an expansive look at the Indian physicist Vikram Sarabhai. At the core of Braun’s practice is a desire to excite his viewers to question and expand discourse on globalization.

Matti Braun has shown work in group and solo shows internationally, including Museum Ludwig, Cologne, Brigitte Weiss, Zurich, The Showroom, London, Project Arts Centre, Dublin, and Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam, Netherlands.
