Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith graduated with an MA from St. Martins College in London, where he lives and works. He has had solo exhibitions at White Columns in New York and at STORE gallery in London. He explores conventions of Conceptual art in his installations, which incorporate such functional objects as shelving, record jackets, and duvets, challenging accepted notions of how those objects are used.
