Ian Law

Ian Law is a process-based painter whose work investigates authorship and subjectivity. He often works with previously exhibited materials–repositioning or reforming them–in order to highlight the objects’ agency or autonomy. 

Law curated Out of the living, a 2015 group exhibition at Supplement Gallery, London. Recent solo exhibitions include Rodeo, London, Laura Bartlett Gallery, London, VI, VII, Oslo, and Rodeo, Istanbul. Recent group exhibitions include Tenderpixel, London, OSLO 10, Basel and Cripta747, Turin, among other venues.
