Dineo Seshee Bopape

Dineo Seshee Bopape earned her degree in fine art from the Durban Institute of Technology, South Africa. She spent two years as a resident at De Ateliers, Amsterdam, and recently moved from Cape Town to New York. The act of collecting ties together her diverse practice, which includes drawing, sculpture, installation, video, sound, and slide shows. Her works often inject sexual impulses into themes of race, gender, and cultural identity.
