Dan Perkins

Dan Perkins’ work plays in the space between the natural and the digital, using tight geometries to activate planes, shapes, and textures. Starting with images of the natural world as initial source material, Perkins edits, crops, cuts and rearranges these sources. The final paintings are combinations of these edited sources, warped and bent around optically engaging, perceptually challenging forms.
