Andrew Cornell Robinson

Andrew Cornell Robinson is an artist and designer whose work spans various media, including ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, and collaborative craft. He creates playful portraits, imagined creatures, and abstracted objects, which explore humor and its relation to society and history. Many of Cornell Robinson's works, including Long Shot II, a sculpture of a gun with a comically long barrel and a flag, are part of an ongoing narrative about the lives of two individuals. 

Cornell Robinson's work has been exhibited in solo and group shows at Christopher Stout Gallery, New York, Horace Mann School, New York, Joyce Goldstein Gallery, New York, Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Connecticut, and the Baltimore Contemporary Museum of Art. He has received fellowships from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Creative Capital.
