Amber Renaye

Mixed media artist Amber Renaye's work bridges the gap between the literal and metaphoric, with a particular emphasis and play with materiality. Their deadpan humor and wit is often quite subtle, like a particularly tuber-shaped rock with the word "potato" etched into it, or a series of paintings of pebbles that are actually rendered using ground up rocks. 

Renaye's work has recently been exhibited at Circuit12 in Dallas, as well as the Johannes Vogt Gallery, New York.
