Guggenheim Museum, New York; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; The Art Institute of Chicago; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; The Cleveland Museum of Art; the Hara Museum of Art, Tokyo; the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama; the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography; the Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane, Australia; and many others. 

Sato Tokihiro Presence or Absence, a major survey of the artist's work opens May 13, 2014, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography (through July 13, 2014). A comprehensive catalogue with essays in Japanese and English will be published on the occasion of the exhibition.
