Grayson Cox
The practice of New York-based artist Grayson Cox incorporates photography, printmaking, architectural building, painting and carpentry to create works that “challenge the viewers' notions of space and parameter.” Says Cox of his interactive sculptures and installations, “I believe that architecture plays a very significant role in social balance or unrest. I am intrigued by the possibility of rituals and control that architectural space can facilitate, and social tensions that are created or relieved by paternalistic space.”
His solo exhibitions include Klemens Gasser & Tanja Grunert, Inc., NYC and Engineer’s Office Gallery, Rockefeller Center, New York.
