Caroline Corbasson

Parisian artist Caroline Corbasson creates work that addresses scientific questions and materials of the natural universe. Through careful observation and scrutiny of plants, minerals and earth, Corbasson captures the poetic essence of her surroundings. Her large-scale photorealistic drawings render space rocks and desert craters in haunting detail. At once timeless and otherworldly, Corbasson’s work evokes the fragility, power and grace of the known world.

Corbasson has shown her multifaceted work in a number of exhibitions and institutions in London and Paris including Galerie Laurence Bernard, Genève, Newcastle Project Space, London, Galerie Suzanne Tarasiève, Paris, Musée des Arts et Métiers, Paris, Galerie L’Inlassable, Paris, and the L’Inlassable Museum, New-York, among others.
