Brice Bischoff

Brice Bischoff uses a combination of long-exposure photography and performance to create semi-abstract images of light, motion, and color. Draping himself in massive sheets of colored paper and dancing in front of his lens—often against a backdrop of nature or architecture—Bischoff fills ordinary landscapes with psychedelic clouds of prismatic colors. Bischoff has shown at Prospect 1.5, Lemieux Gallery, and the NOCCA Institute Gallery (all in New Orleans), and work is in the collection of the New Orleans Museum of Art.
