Aleana Egan

Aleana Egan earned her BA from the Glasgow School of Art and currently lives in Dublin and Berlin. Her works in sculpture, collage, and drawing perform subtle manipulations on industrial materials. Her 2008 exhibition at the Kunsthalle Basel, “We sat down where we had sat before,” draws its title from The Sea, The Sea by Iris Murdoch, echoing the novel’s conflation of human psychology and a rugged coastline.
