About The Work
A quiet, more understated work within Pablo Picasso’s oeuvre, this lovely drypoint print melds traditional figure drawing with experimental Modernist modes of representation. Here, three nude female figures stand closely together as one reaches out to another to admire a simply rendered necklace. This edition of 50 comes from La caisse à remords, a suite of etchings and drypoints executed between 1919-1955.
