Kerstin Brätsch earned her MFA from Columbia University and currently lives in New York and Berlin. She makes large paintings on paper that often symbolize psychics and spirit guides. She has also made several works experimenting with the process of photocopying –reproducing images until they are illegible. She has also used photocopied sheets as wallpaper on which to mount paintings.
